YES-DC is a forum to exchange information, start discussions or ask for help from other people in the field. To facilitate this YES-DC offers several options to contact your fellow YES-DC members.
If there are any questions and or remarks you want to share with the board, with YES-DC members or Alumni and you do not know which forum you need/want to use, please contact us through info@yes-dc.org.
- LinkedIn
Through LinkedIn you can contact fellow YES-DC members directly by becoming a member of the LinkedIn group. Some of our Alumni are also still within this group so there is also a direct connection with middle management and seniors within the field! You, as a member, can join the YES-DC LinkedIn group here.
LinkedIn can be used for (sharing):
- Vacancies
- Discussions
- New’s articles
- Upcoming activities
- Networking
.....etc.....
- Yes Friday Fortnightly (YFFN)
Yes-DC’s bi-weekly newsletter is an email in which vacancies are shared with its members, together with upcoming activities and other announcements that have to reach all our YES-DC members. If anybody wants to post something in the YFFN, please send your email toinfo@yes-dc.org.
- International Network
Because we believe that all energy and sustainability issues are cross-border issues, our international network is much valued. Furthermore the most interesting activities for young specialists in the fields of energy and sustainable development are hardly limited to those in the Netherlands, and we strive towards offering our members maximal potential for joining in these. For this reason we have since recently actively began increasing our ties with other international networks again, such as YES-Africa.
Almost 20% of YES-DC members are already employed in a position abroad, and are much valued in that position. We try to keep them involved through among others the newsletter: foreign members are e.g. asked to publish an article on their activities every now and then in it. Though they are seldom present on our activities, through Linked-In and our members’ database connections are kept with them; for them YES-DC remains the networking agent they relied on in the Netherlands.
If you are living abroad and are interested in taking part in our network, or are in an organization that you think could be interesting to connect with us, please contact our international relations officer Pepijn van Kesteren.

Alumni-list
Lately YES-DC is approached more often by companies more and more to spread information and/or vacancies to our more senior or middle management (old) members. Therefore we are currently developing an Alumni mailing list through which we can share this information together with the YES-DC newsletters with our alumni. If old members who are not approached by the current board yet want to become a member of this list, please send an email to info@yes-dc.org. This Alumni list is not yet in function, we expect it to function soon.
