The Board of YES-DC 2008

On the General Members’ Meeting (January 31st, 2008) we have been elected the new Board of YES-DC. With great enthusiasm and high spirits, we will commit ourselves to bringing all YES DC-members an exciting year, including vivid discussion evenings, interesting excursions and meeting people with the same interests you have. Here's a short introduction, but hopefully, we will meet at the next YES-DC activity! See you soon!

Joost van Stralen: Secretary and Website co-ordinator

Hi, I’m Joost van Stralen and work for ECN Policy Studies since September 2006. I’m mainly occupied with the development and use of computer models that simulate the European renewable energy market and how policies might influence this market. Because my background is quite different (I did a PhD study theoretical chemistry at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam), I thought joining YES-DC was a good way to meet other young people who have interest in energy related issues. This year I'm secretary and am responsible for the maintenance of this website. Besides that I would like to participate in the organization of an activity.
