Nuclear Fusion Road Show

Doors open: 19.00

Start road show: 19.30

Fusion Reactor JET in the UK is world record holder in fusion energy since 1996.

The Fusion Road Show presents the story behind nuclear fusion, the energy source of the sun and the other stars. Physicists try to ‘tame’ nuclear fusion as an energy source on earth: a compact, inexhaustible source with no CO2-emissions.

How does it work? What’s the added value of fusion to existing renewable energy sources? And most importantly: when does fusion produce energy?

Host Gieljan de Vries of the Dutch institute for nuclear fusion Rijnhuizen will use catching pictures and live experiments in order to answer your questions about nuclear fusion, so be there and join this exciting YES-DC activity!
