Designing energy products for people at the Base of the welfare and development pyramid requires a completely different skill set than designing products for the Western world. During this event, Prof. Prabhu Kandachar of the TU-Delft will take us through the BoP design process and explain both the limitations and opportunities. Do-inc will explain the success of the Waka Waka solar light and Anne Jansen will give a presentation on the biogas socket for the BoP developed by TNO and Simgas.
