Warming Up for the Qatar climate summit – Urgency versus Attention

    The Event

Warming up for the climate summit, and serving as follow up of “Duurzame Dindag”, YES-DC is organizing a heated debate about the climate, society and future. Young professionals, students and experts will discuss the gap between the urgency and the attention climate change gets in media and politics. Topics to be tackled are the effects and opportunities for the economic downtime for long term investments, the effects of climate change in developing countries and the responsibilities of western countries, and the (un)usefulness of the climate summits.

Pier Vellinga, Mark SandersEdgar Cruz, Hugo von Meijenfeldt and UN Youth Representatives Ralien Bekkers and Liset Meddens.
